Results Are In

Today's the official release of the 2007 Cambridge 'A' Level Examinations Results. Was shit scared the whole morning.

Before that, headed down to Suntec for the IT fair! got myself the new Panasonic Lumix FS5 digicam! yaaaay! have been eyeing that and the Olympus mju 1010 for quite some time already, only they're not out in stores yet...only available at the IT fair for now. It wasn't as crowded as expected probably because it was a weekday. Made my purchase kinda quick...didn't stop and look around at the other booths as I had to be at MJ by 2.30.

Still, I was late. Reached MJ at 2.40? missed esther lai's talk, but i'm not complaining. when i reached the hall it was already the part where esther lai was announcing names of those with 3 or 4 As for their H2s. When the names of my classmates were called up, my heart kinda stopped. I was like 'shit...will she call my name?' Heart sank after some 301 guy's name was called. I didn't get 3 or 4 As. hopefully I'll have 2. maybe. probably. perhaps. but no. waited for what seemed like 10 years for esther to going through her list, and then another 5 more years of waiting before it's my turn to collect my results slip.

Gohel peeked at it, told my it's not bad. I didn't believe him but was quite scared to look. I noticed he didn't give me a slip of paper that was for those who had 2A and a B or above. My heart dropped even lower. Not even 2 As. I slowly lowered the certificate for the results i got last year whcih i used to cover the result slip, kinda like gamblers taking a peek at their cards. On the 1st row, there was a great big C. I got a bloody C for my GP.

My head went blank after that...didn't bother to reveal the rest slow. The results are as follow:
H1 Geography B
H2 Mathematics A
H2 Physics B (WTF? only a B?)
H2 Chemistry B

Didn't have the mood to go anywhere after that. A little disappointed in myself la, but I guess the results are still acceptable. Some of my friends didn't do as well, some did very well.

Rach wanna go clubbing but I wasn't in the mood for loud music and crazy dancing, though the alcohol might be welcomed. Tried to find ppl to have dinner with me to no avail. Stayed at home, a lonely no-life loser=(. boohoo.
